Congratulations to the recipients of the 2020 EndoMarch Hero of the Year Award: Dr. Sandra A. Carson (US) and Yasaman “Yassi” Miremadi (International)! Both recipients will receive their award at the 7th Annual Worldwide EndoMarch on March 28th, 2020.
The opportunity to observe Dr. Nezhat for 2 months was an important point in my life. Prior to this, I had heard about endometriosis a few years ago when I recorded patient education videos with an OBGYN in Turkey. Even though I found it very interesting, the estimated incidence of 1 in 10 seemed unrealistic.
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Elise Elizabeth Travers, noted philanthropist, endometriosis advocate and Board Member of Worldwide EndoMarch and Worldwide Endometriosis Day. She also served as President of the New York chapter of Worldwide EndoMarch. Ms. Travers passed away peacefully on September 4, 2019 after an extended illness.
